They have also been shown to reduce oxidative stress, which includes stimulating glomerular filtration and reducing vasoconstriction, slowing the progression of CKD. Limited data from clinical trials have been published on the effects of GLP-1 receptor agonists in individuals with post-liver transplant diabetes mellitus (PTDM)
