I picked up the largest mushroom in this set because of the interesting open vein that runs through the cap of the mushroom and down the stem: it is filled with frosty double-terminated crystals the shape of a rice grain

this specimen is wide and flat like a lopsided cake with round nubbins attached to the side

They are made of Arizona Sierra sandstone sourced from central Arizona
